About

Ronnie (she/they) is an Ontario based, aspiring Children’s Book Illustrator-Author who creates whimsical, emotional and comforting stories inspired by nature. Like gentle rays of the sun peeking through heavy rainclouds, Ronnie’s illustrations conjure a familiar sense of warmth and comfort after a long storm.

Following their many passions, they hold a Bachelor of Environment Studies (B.E.S) and an Illustration Diploma. In her free time, Ronnie loves rock climbing, birdwatching, and journaling!

Fun Facts About Ronnie

★ While my goal is to one day become an established children's book illustrator and sell my very own books, I also love making cute artwork and stationery for fellow nature lovers to enjoy. 

★ Words that inspire my illustrations - educational, inspirational and funny - with a touch of mother nature. I aim to portray a diversity of people & cultures while also showing the wonders and curiosities of nature!

★ I love the sound of a pencil crayon drawing on a layer of dry gouache paint. So yummy!

★ “Szo” is pronounced like the word “Show”
